Kalorama
Greek for “a beautiful view,” Kalorama has been one of DC’s most desirable neighborhoods since the late 19th century. Divided into two areas – Sheridan-Kalorama and Kalorama Triangle, this is a tranquil community of large, gracious homes and charming rowhouses on tree-lined streets. Quite a few former presidents have opted to live here over the years.
Kalorama is populated mostly with luxurious single-family homes on spacious, well-manicured lots. In Sheridan-Kalorama, you will find everything from Queen Annes to Georgian and Federal Revivals to Mediterranean Revivals. Condos and rowhouses are also available in the Kalorama Triangle area.
